Originally from Manila, Philippines, SPAZZKID (aka Mark Redito) currently resides in Los Angeles, where he has slowly been making his mark in the music scene since 2006 to date. Numerous songs of his such as “Weird Girl” fall under the spell of Japanese influenced electronic music.
The song in particular has a fun, almost ‘virtual’ element to it as it achieves the perfect balance between pop, chill out and video game music. The song’s electronic beats and glittering female and male vocals give it a cheeky feel as does the silken ‘school girl’ laugh near the end of the song. SPAZZKID creates the perfect hybrid of naughty and nice harmonies within the song.
