Juan Cristobal strikes listeners with a sexy, newly edited track, “Paws”. Within the song, originally produced by Cashmere Cat, Cristobal combines Drake’s vocals with the female vocals from his 2011 song, “Marvin’s Room”. “Paws” takes on a seductive R&B tone with the addition of Drake’s vocals. The smooth piano introduced in the beginning sets tone to the pulsating, bouncy beat.
The tune, sonically, sits on the fence. Being stuck between labelling it as a smooth, chilled out tune or a futuristic R’n’B, dance-able song, further enhances its originality even more.
With Cashmere Cat’s song, Drake’s vocals, and Juan’s edit, this trio definitely produce a striking tune.
