Virginia-based artist GoldLink drops some of realest words on his song “The Heart”.
The track is GoldLink’s interpretation of Kendrick Lamar’s “The Heart Pt.2” from Overly Dedicated (which is a take on The Roots’ “A Peace of Light”), but the greatness of his predecessors take on this smooth soul instrumental doesn’t stop GoldLink from spitting fire on it. His words on this song speak to those who may have gone through the same thing or something similar, but you may have a different opinion.
