Born in Boston but bred in London, 19 year-old Kenzie May is an up and coming R&B singer-songwriter. “Skeleton Key” is her second solo single: her debut was “Hide & Seek“, which was released back in May last year. She has lent her voice to FTSE for his track “Float“, and to Sub Focus for his 2012 single “Falling Down“. She has also worked with Bastille and electronic music group Metronomy.
Her soft but compelling vocals flow over a steady beat and delicate melody in “Skeleton Key”, which makes for some mesmerising music. This, coupled with the beautifully emotive music video, definitely showcases her talents well.
