TUNE OF THE DAY: Entropy by Klyne

Aesop must be pretty chuffed with themselves for scooping up this dollop of oh-so-goodness, AKA Dutch duo’s debut double billed single release, ‘Paralyzed’. Whilst, ‘Paralyzed’ is a mighty fine track, with a mighty fine video, today, AA side ‘Entropy’, has caught our attention.

Immediately arresting with its slightly clunky and tropical percussion rolling you into a track that quickly reveals itself as a summer infused pop anthem, complete with catchy lyrics and steel drums. The pace is sedate, but there’s an uncanny uncomfortableness that steeps the song in an energy that is difficult not to enjoy. Though slightly disappointingly we hear that older cuts of ‘Entropy’ were far more psychedelic, leaving only an intriguing guitar riff at the close of the track, we’re told that we should expect a lot more from Klyne in the coming months.

‘Entropy’ is out on the 7th of August, and you can stream it below.
