Hold onto your electro synth-pop hats; your leaders are back. CHVRCHES are returning with their second studio album, due to be released 25th September, ‘Every Open Eye’, which means it’s lead single time.
‘Leave A Trace’ is even by CHVRCHES’ high standards, a slice of gooey synth wonderment, with all the makings of a hit single, and, we can only assume, a hit album. Catchy ‘F you’ lyrics and the warm and beautifully layered synth lines that we have come to expect from the Scottish trio, will leave you thoroughly satisfied, but perhaps ever so reticent about the idea of an album entirely of what we expect.
